Resolved Question: How safe is Hyattsville/College Park, MD area?

I'm looking for places to live this summer (short-term) and came across subleases in the College Park area in Hyattsville, MD. I know some places are not very safe in DC, so I just want to make sure this is a good place for me potentially. I am a college student myself, so the environment is ideal for me since its located near the metro and a couple miles of the University of Maryland...any comments would really help me out!
